Despite the constraints on the site the resulting design presents an elegant and formal facade to the street with deep balconies defined by brick frames and planting. Care has been taken to provide opportunities for not only small planting but more significant deep soil plating on the upper levels and in particular to the southwestern corner addressing the street view.
The building steps down to towards the heritage residence on the western edge of the site.
